Our project called “ Better together ” has an aim of implementing an exchange between 4 countries.
The topic is related to European mentality, citizenship and ideals, putting stress on the solidarity and
respect of human dignity. The direct participants of the exchange are the
disadvantaged youngsters. Our goal in the exchange is to form these youngsters into individuals who
consciously help each other and are aware of their human rights, fundamental principles of
democratic participation, issues and questions of social responsibility and volunteering activities. In
the long run, we want these young adults to be active participants in their own country with promoting
democratic and social participation on a broader front. Through the planned activities, we can
provide them the necessary information for acquiring and obtaining competence and knowledge.
Thanks to the program – we may use the multiplication of results – we can achieve our goal, namely
more and more citizens will become participants of volunteering activities and campaigns that are
against social problems. Among the target group, we aim to achieve and form a kind of democratic
attitude and way of looking, which will be handy in the later stages of their life.

 

The participants are between the ages of 17 and 25, who will get answers for the following questions:
What are my rights and obligations as a European citizen? Can I apply my rights correctly? What do I
have to do to become an active, responsible European citizen? What can I do for my community?
What are the foundations of human rights, how can I use them, and what for?As a result of the
project, a board game called “ Better together ” will be worked out and elaborated on by the
participants during the exchange.
The enhancement of discrimination, exaggerative expressions, disadvantages springing from social
differences, repression of the activity among youngsters on national and European levels, and
migration from homelands provides a basis for the importance and necessity of the project. The
planned 9-day-long exchange will be implemented in Sofia/ Bulgaria-02-09-20202  , where 24 youngsters and 4
group leaders are to be participated. During the exchange, we put stress on acquiring knowledge
from the topics, improving language skills, building connections among the participants, and of
course safety measures. Besides these, we want to provide, disseminate and multiply the topic for
the broader audience.

 

The projects' results s our Organization Bulgaria , but we doing whit partner together whit Romanian
and Slovakia who has sevarel experimant . Besides this, we want to implement our program in a
multiple way in order to show good example to other organizations, on one hand to give guidelines to
the members of society on fields of democratic views and way of thinking, the formation of European
notions .
The partner organisations will multiplicate their knowledge in their local community and environment
with the new methods, experiences and connections they got. They will be able to initiate and carry
out new projects by using the new experiences, connections and knowledge. The young people set
up a publication about their work done during the exchange, which we distribute with the help of
social media sites and various organizations.
Participants acquire competences which help them to provide equality, responsibility, justice. heir
acquitance with the European nationality is improving, they get aquinted with other languages,
cultures, so their traverse skills will progress. They integrate the knowledge into their personality and
they contribute to a more tolerant and democratic society. They will multiplicate their knowledge in
their families, communities and environment, by using the methods they learned during the project.
